Code Number 108 was produced by Senkosha and Kansai TV and was very clearly riding on the coattails of other shows of the era produced by Toei Company, such as Flower Action 009-1, PlayGirl, and its sequel, Playgirl Q. The idea behind these shows was pretty much mixing action and suspense with an all-female cast. Sadly, this series wasn't very successful, compared to its Toei counterparts, and was cancelled after only 13 episodes, but it still remains a fascinating look at what these kinds of shows were like. After this series was taken off the air, Toei would go on to produce similar shows such as The Super Girl and Miracle Girl. Anyway, I hope people enjoy!
