Funny how a relatively unpopular/unknown manga among otaku (though I'm sure it's very well-written) is the one that gets a French-American-Japanese collaborative adaptation from Apple TV, lol. The power of wine and wino's I guess. This manga started in 2004 and flew completely under the radar outside of Japan (maybe it had traction in France?) until suddenly in 2019 when Kodansha turbo-translated all 44 volumes in 1.5 years - possibly after getting word of interest in a TV adaptation. Yeah you read that right. 1.5 years, 44 volumes. Meanwhile you've got Yen Press over here struggling to put out 1 volume every 6 months for stuff that is a dozen volumes ahead in Japan already.
